Phuket and The Royal Paradise Hotel & Spa will again host an important event, on the coming 9 – 12 September. Sponsored by The Office of the National Research Council of Thailand and Centre of Excellence in Mathematics, Thailand, “The Second Asian Conference on Nonlinear Analysis and Optimization” (NAO-Asia 2010) will continue its tradition of its first event held in 2008 held in Shimane, Japan. It will bring together leading Asian researchers to achieve an international or higher level on the research of the Nonlinear Analysis, Convex Analysis, and Optimization.
To pass down consciousness to coming generations and with a focus on the community around us, The Royal Paradise Resort & Spa organizes a project called “Youth for Environment”. 12 – 15 students from Baan Sainamyen School will join us in a long term program running from October 20 and ending on January 28, 2011. Once a week, 2 hours a day, on every Friday, they will learn the theory of energy saving and environmental conservation, how to sort garbage, ideas for reusing and participating in various activities with our hotel and other agencies as well. The sooner the better for environment conservation, we would like to ensure that those children will grow up to be good citizens and help their society, considering this an important issue the same as we do.
