| The world class range of sports, arts, wellness and recreational facilities are provided here at PIASAWC for the enjoyment of the school’s pupils, their families, the local Phuket community and for visiting professional and amateur athletes from around the world. PIA founder, Klaus Hebben, has a vision of creating one facility to fulfill the intellectual, physical, creative and spiritual potential of all students, members and participants of the three centres of PIA, which are the PIA Day School, PIA Sports, Arts and Wellness Centre and the PIA Mind Centre. The PIASAWC already has the beginnings of its state of the art facilities, with a 50-metre Olympic-style pool, all-weather futsal field with floodlights and a basketball court completed , and a 25-metre pool close to completion. Later there will be a fitness centre, three indoor and three open air tennis courts, a professional running track, a full-size soccer pitch, which will also be used for rugby and cricket, with viewer grand stands at each sports area. The various sports facilities will be open for island tournaments, whose organizers currently have a tiresome time nailing down venues. PIASAWC will set a benchmark as a regional hub for sports, arts and wellness in Thailand and Asia. |

World Cup Futsal Festival Team Competition: 12 Dec 2009 The PIA Futsal world cup brings together teams from all over Phuket to challenge for PIA's very own world cup. Teams of 5 will compete in 30 minute matches vying for the PIA title. Junior, Senior and adult competitions will take place throughout the day. There will also be fun activities such as penalty shoot outs and superstar challenges. |

New Years PIA Sports & Arts Kids Camp: 5 Jan 2010 - 8 Jan 2010 The PIA Sports & Arts Kids Camp will get kids starting the year with a range of healthy and creative activities. They will have sports from Football to Fencing, and arts ranging from sketching to sculpture. In addition PIASAWC will be launching its new indoor facility where there will be martial arts and fitness classes held throughout the week. Children can burn off their Christmas energy and get their minds tuned in ready for the start of the school term. |
