Here it is again, high season has officially begun!!! Hotels & Resorts are already holding their annual party to welcome in the busiest 6 months of the year and the Phuket residents are thinking of sunny skies, turquoise blue waters, warm balmy days and BBQ's in the garden. So now the high season has arrived, what is there to do here? For most the main reason they visit is to enjoy the sea, and Phuket is one of the best locations in the world to partake in water sports, and Phuket certainly has all areas covered with sailing, yachting, cruising, jet-skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving, snorkelling, sea canoeing and kayaking all easily accessible. Of course, there's still plenty to do away from the sea but once the hot weather really starts kicking in you can bet both tourists and locals alike will be heading to the closest bit of water if only for a cool down. And talking of water don't forget that November also sees the fantastic Loy Krathong Festival, if this is your fist time of being here for this it really is worth checking out. This year loy Krathong falls on 17th November and you can read more about this spectacular event here: |
