High season is well underway here in Phuket and a large number of the hotels and resorts are at or very close to full capacity, the beaches are more than likely at bursting point, and the queues at the immigration desks at the airport are probably something like the queues for people wanting to grab a bargain at the January sales.
Saying all that, there are still some great places to go to and enjoy some of the finer things that Phuket has to offer and this busy time away from the crowds.
